WEB DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP FOR MOTONATION / AGV SPORTS GROUP

Motonation / AGV Sports Group is always looking for students majoring in web development who are willing to be in a learning environment in exchange for college credits. Based on skill and aptitude, the position will serve as an integral role in helping to support and design web solutions for Motonation and its affiliates; AGVSPORT, Sidi, and Vemar.  Projects and goals will be set and a game plan will be established to help interns achieve and surpass goals. We offer the latest version of most graphic arts software such as Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Quark, and many more.Ideal for college students or recent graduates wishing to add real world experience to their educational credentials. Goals will be set and a game plan will be established to help interns achieve and surpass goals.

 

Job Responsibilities:
• Being able to design and create a variety of graphics.
• Being able to work with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash etc.
• Communicate with vendors and manufactures.
• Prepare designs, concepts, and sample layouts making necessary changes based on feedback throughout the iterative design process.
• Stay current with latest design trends.
• Create smart design solutions.

Job Requirements:
• Must have at least basic computer skills. Experience with print, internet and multimedia are a plus.
• Motorcycle enthusiasts preferred.

Length

The position is open for as long as the student would like, but with a minimum length of 12 weeks with 21 to 35 hours per week.

Credit / Compensation

Student interns will have an opportunity to receive college credit. Contact your undergraduate advising office for more information on academic credit. Compensation depends on your work program as defined above; some lighter work-load programs will have no compensation while others will have multiple benefits.

Functional Responsibility: Provide acquisition support on functions of program management. Assist program managers in developing program documentation, creating program schedules, tracking program status, evaluating operational and technical alternatives, performing risk assessment and managing integrated product teams. Provide expertise on the myriad of factors that influence cost, schedule, performance, and risk. Advise in the interpretation and tailoring of DoD/NSA acquisition regulations and memorandums, and ensure affordable, supportable and effective systems are delivered to the customer. Provide assistance in analyzing and developing improved policies, plans, methods, procedures, and systems of acquisition management programs. Professional Experience: 15 years of combined experience in DoD program management. Certification and Training: A Bachelor's degree in an acquisition related discipline is desired. Professional certification (DAWIA, PMP, CPCM). In lieu of the Bachelor's degree and certification, DAWIA or otherwise, an additional 4 years of directly related experience for a total of 19 years may be substituted. The candidate must have experience preparing procurement documentation (e.g., SOO, SOW, Market Surveys, Acquisition Plans, DD254s, CPRL). The candidate will assist the CAS government PM in the oversight and management of contracts and technical aspects off various contracts in the CAS office. The candidate will also prepare/monitor schedules and budgets for the program office. The candidate will be responsible for scheduling, conducting, and analyzing monthly status reviews with contractors supporting the CAS. Must have experience setting up a Program Management Office (PMO). A current TS/SCI security clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph is required.
