As a Food Service Manager with the Annapolitan, you will monitor budgets and payroll records as well as review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted. You will also maintain food and equipment inventories and keep inventory records.


Additional responsibilities of the Food Service Manager include:


 


Scheduling food preparation and serving staff hours and assigning duties

Instructing cooks and other workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food

Collaborating with other personnel to plan and develop recipes and menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and residents’ dietary restrictions

As a Food Service Manager with the Annapolitan, you must have strong purchasing skills. You must also be able to prepare meals from scratch.
 

Additional requirements for the Food Service Manager include:

 


Minimum 5 years experience in assisted living, skilled nursing and rehab or retirement living communities

Management experience that included supervising kitchen and dining room staff and emphasized team leadership

Strong working knowledge of menu planning, cycle menus and therapeutic diets

Strong catering abilities

Hospitality training and/or experience is a plus

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Director is responsible for the overall management of the Southern Maryland Small Business Development Center.  The Center serves three local jurisdictions including Charles, Calvert and St. Mary’s counties.  The director’s responsibilities include program oversight and management, budgeting, budget management and report writing, market research, course/program planning and delivery, personnel management, liaison and collaboration.

The work schedule for this position is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Flexibility is required.

Position Summary 
Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist in preparation of medications for distribution to long term care facilities based on the physician orders and prescriptions.  Accomplish this by following departmental policies and procedures within the scope of long term care pharmacy standards. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


Develops a current knowledge of Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy policies & procedures & supports them.


Assists the pharmacist(s) on duty as their primary responsibility; performing these duties as the number one priority.


Fills daily drug orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist.


Reorders out of stock or low inventory items by writing them down on the “want book:  If trained, assist in ordering drugs from wholesaler via telxon, etc., as needed.


Assists in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.


Review facility pre-list and prepare 31 day cards with the appropriate drug for the full fill.


Assists in monthly fulfills by delivering and exchanging medications to scheduled nursing home.


Assists in bagging drugs and place in proper area in warehouse to be delivered.


Must be able to work rotating schedules, evenings and weekends.


Other duties as assigned; job duties may vary by location.

Summary of role
 
Assist with operations and managerial duties within a small Distribution Center.  Supervise warehouse employees and provide training to ensure that productivity standards are met or exceeded.

Essential Responsibilities



Assist in the planning and management of the daily work activities of one or more departments within the warehouse (i.e., processing, returning, and packing) to performance metrics in the areas of:  throughput, cost, and customer service.

Utilize a personal computer, the warehouse management system (WMS), and a time tracking system to conduct warehouse operations, communicate with others, monitor payroll/hours, extract information, and process reports.
Conduct performance evaluations and initiate disciplinary actions against warehouse employees when necessary.
Configure and troubleshoot distribution center hardware to include bar code scanners, label printers, personal computers, and pick ticket printers.
May be required to work weekends to support 7-day DC operational schedule.

Lockheed Martin Transportation and Security Solutions requires an individual to work program activities related to installing CCTV security camera.
This position will include efforts to be part of an installation team that will survey, install, test and turn over completed security camera locations to the customer.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. For this particular position an active Top Secret security clearance, with a current background investigation is preferred.
Individual will be required to undergo specific government training.50% OCONUS and 10% CONUS travel is required to different locations.
