Primary job duties and responsibilities are to perform manual and automated software testing for Digital Receiver Technology (DRT) Software releases. Records and tracks defects uncovered during the execution of tests cases. Independently executes test scripts based on planned project schedules. Experience in the development of test cases, writing scripts and test execution is required. Working knowledge of Radio Communication hardware and related test equipments strongly desired. Understanding of wireless protocols (IS-136, IS-95, cdma2000, WCDMA, GSM/EDGE) is a strong plus. Digital Receiver Technology (DRT), based in Germantown, Maryland, designs and manufactures high performance receivers and transceivers for the wireless test, SIGINT, and law enforcement markets. Experience in software testing in an environment of GUI, Real-Time Embedded, and DSP Software development is highly desired. Level 2 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 3 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. Job Details:   Supports organization licensure and accreditation oversight by conducting compliance audits (chart review and observations); performing system and patient tracers; assisting with development of education materials and presentations; participating in accreditation/regulatory surveys; follow-up on corrective action plans.  Supports Medical Staff and Core Team performance measurement and improvement by conducting chart audits; designing and running  reports; aggregating and analyzing data; investigating unexpected outcomes and making recommendations for improvement strategies; maintaining physician/nurse practitioner ongoing practice evaluations and collaborates with medical staff credentialing coordinator in credentialing/recredentialing process assisting Medical Staff with formulation of performance indicators.  Supports performance improvement activities by compiling organizational data such as scoreboards and contract compliance; collecting and analyzing data; identifying undesirable outcomes and assisting in formulation of action plans; coordinating projects; benchmarking with peer hospitals; and researching evidence-based best practices.

Graduate of an accredited college/university.  Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field required.  Master's degree preferred.  Current, unrestricted license in a clinical field including, but not limited to, nursing, physical therapy, respiratory therapy.  CPHQ preferred.

Four years or more of patient care experience in a hospital and at least one year of experience in hospital quality assessment.  Experience with the Meditech electronic record is desirable.  Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft-based personal computers including spreadsheet, word processing, database and presentation applications.  Familiarity with Joint Commission, CARF and CMS standards and survey processes.

Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Provides test area
with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data
and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, or new testing

Sets up test environments.
